Here are two more sketches from Philadelphia, the top sketch is of Mermaid Lane SEPTA train Bridge. The second sketch was drawn form Beau Monde a creperie near south st in Philadelphia.

Some of recent sketches that I have done. The first one is a drawing of the Guilford building on Elm St in Greensboro NC. The second drawing is the side facade of the former First National Bank building in Durham NC . The third and fourth drawings are of the Jefferson- Pilot buildings in downtown Greensboro NC.

Some recent sketches i have done in my small moleskine sketchbook i have been filling up 2 pages a day and so far i should have the sketchbook finished by the 19th i plan on buying a new sketchbook for my trip to Philadelphia on the 23rd . The top three are sketches of telephone poles so far i have drawn 20 telephone poles i should be posting some more in the following days. The bottom two are sketches of Burlington NC the first is the back view of the skyscraper in the second drawing the one to the right of this is a drawing of the Elon University campus.

To recent water color sketches the top one is a drawing of the green bridge condos its a fairly simple view of the first and second floor of of GreenBridge west I choose the location because i was able to find a good place to sit down. The other drawing is of an old barge at seabreeze a small community near Carolina beach.

Some recent drawings of the new Greenbridge condos in Carrboro. The top sketch was done today while waiting to get pizza at the Franklin street pizzeria. The bottom sketch was done yesterday while at Milltown for lunch . Although there is a lot of criticism towards the New Greeenbridge condos I am Really pleased with what they will offer Chapel Hill and Carrboro . I am very excited i really hope these condos will help make the downtown the center of activity for a town rather than malls . This will give Carrboro and even more European feel even though it is already called the Paris of the Piedmont, because residents of the new condos will be able to walk from there condo to dine, shop and enjoy the downtown . Another exiting fact about these condos is the fact that they will be very Eco friendly .
I visited Graham N.C. the downtown has to be one of the most architecturally interesting down towns in North Carolina I love the square with the courthouse in the middle and all the buildings surrounding it . There are many beautiful Cast-iron architecture style buildings. One of my favorite buildings which i was unable to draw was the old drug store hopefully the have plans to restore the building and the old pharmacy. The one thing that disappointed me was that some of the building had a metal facade over them hopefully the town has plans to remove them. I was messing around with my scanner settings because i felt that there was always too much of a glare so i tried to darken it its a little over darkened but its better than the glare.
On my way to Maine for vacation I took a Picture from the highway of a power planet in Hartford Ct. it turned out to be one of the best pictures that i took from the car window. When I was looking through all the pictures This one was one of my favorites so I decided to do a pen and ink of it although it stared out as a pencil drawing at first did not feel as if i had enough experience to do a large pencil drawing so I went with pen and ink. In the foreground is the top of a train car the building also in the foreground their is some sort of food processing planet in the background is the power planet . I don't have a great scanner so the smoke is whited out.

Sketches from my vacation on Mont desert island Maine From top to bottom Isleford dock Little Cranberry Island, abandoned building main street Northeast Harbor use to be sherman's book store, view of southwest harbor and Manset from Manset , the old fire station in northeast harbor now houses the Great Harbor Museum The last sketch is of a building on Ilesford behind it is the ilesford museum drawn from the ilesford dock restaurant .If you ever get a chance to got to mount desert island the restaurant is accessible by a daily ferry from southwest and northeast harbor. In my option this is the best restaurant on the island in terms of food, friendliness and the view.I really enjoyed my stay up the I was able to get 18 drawings done.
Some recent sketches the one on the left was done from Kurami a Japanese restaurant. A while back i did the same sketch but in a large watercolor moleskin but sadly I left that journal in Paris and when i finally realized it was gone it was too late somebody had taken it.The one on the right was done today in Hillsborough.

Some sketches from Carolina beach sorry these are like a week late but like i said before earlier my main computer was down so i was not able to scan and post them. I was staying in the Marriott inn on Carolina beach the top 2 and bottom 2 are of the boardwalk which is a great place to cool off and get a slushy or play 1980s arcade games it use to be pretty rundown but it looks a little better now.The middle one is of a crane near the marina at Carolina beach.
The one on the left was drawn from the Italian restaurant Dell Angelo which is located along Avenue Rapp. The one on the right is also drawn from Cafe Le Week End but is of Hopital Laennec.
The one on the left is the back of The Madeleine I drew it form cafe Madeleine. The on the right is of the last Gare de Metro along Boulevard De Grenelle before it passes over the Seine.
As soon as i walked into the airport I sat down and stared sketching my luggage and the pay phones.
This is the sketch I made while waiting in Philadelphia .
