Last weekend i was able to get out to carrboro so I could draw the Greenbridge Condos. They are really coming along, the glass and the brick skin are almost complete . The inside is coming along on Monday I saw then bringing up air shafts to install. The scanner really whited out the side of the building . I can't wait to see what the stores at ground level will be , I am curious though who the tenants of the retail space will be.

I visited Graham N.C. the downtown has to be one of the most architecturally interesting down towns in North Carolina I love the square with the courthouse in the middle and all the buildings surrounding it . There are many beautiful Cast-iron architecture style buildings. One of my favorite buildings which i was unable to draw was the old drug store hopefully the have plans to restore the building and the old pharmacy. The one thing that disappointed me was that some of the building had a metal facade over them hopefully the town has plans to remove them. I was messing around with my scanner settings because i felt that there was always too much of a glare so i tried to darken it its a little over darkened but its better than the glare.

Some sketches from Carolina beach sorry these are like a week late but like i said before earlier my main computer was down so i was not able to scan and post them. I was staying in the Marriott inn on Carolina beach the top 2 and bottom 2 are of the boardwalk which is a great place to cool off and get a slushy or play 1980s arcade games it use to be pretty rundown but it looks a little better now.The middle one is of a crane near the marina at Carolina beach.
