I though i should start posting some of the sketches I did in Philadelphia over winter break. Overall i did 30 sketches in one week while i was up there . I am really bad about scanning drawings from my small moleskine sketchbook. Here are two of my favorite sketches from my vacation. The top one is from a pizzeria in Chestnut hill looking at a church and the other I sat outside on Christmas morning and drew the Gravers Lane station. Gravers lane has to be one of my favorite train stations it was designed by Frank Furness one of my favorite victorian era achictects.
